How one company met a market challenge by pivoting to a different audience and business model.
Scot Robinson has founded and led several successful internet start-ups including Daytracker.com which was sold to FranklinCovey and became the FranklinPlanner.com, ParenthoodWeb.com which was sold to United News & Media, and Regards.com which was sold to Rare Medium, a New York City-based incubator. He is a co-founder and partner in NewOfferings, a digital marketing and web development company. NewOfferings consults with both large enterprises and small businesses to ensure that they are maximizing their online potential.
Scot co-founded and serves as partner at The App Company. The company builds custom apps that drive large international tennis tournaments, football programs, university alumni programs, national restaurant chains, and large and small events.
The company recently launched The App Company Mobile App Platform which allows users to create native apps with no programming experience required. Scot has served on the Board of Directors of Pictage, a leading digital lab solution for professional wedding photographers, and was an advisor to OpposingViews.com.
Scot started his career at Wall Street investment banking house Dillon Read where he was a Senior Vice President. Scot worked on lease financing projects, public finance banking, and real estate projects.
